  • Young people 13-18
  • Mountain
  • Climbing/Trekking

The aim of outdoor climbing is the fun projected vertically, trying to overcome their fears, as well as to become self-sufficient by becoming aware of their body and technical gesture.

It is an activity designed in several routes with ropes and climbing to do individually first and in group for mutual help and to develop collaboration through emotional approach.

This sport can be a metaphor for many topics to be discussed such as the goal – orientation, the sense of the limit, the importance of collaboration in roped.

Video: How climbing a mountain could set students up for life better than other subjects

They say students who learn by ‘doing’ — and who benefit from being outdoors — drop the subject in favour for more academic ones, so they can qualify for university.
