Outdoor Dance focuses on the integration of body and mind through the medium of music. This activity improve self-esteem and body image, develop effective communication skills and relationships, expand their movement vocabulary, gain insight into patterns of behavior, as well as create new options for coping with problems. It is effective for all but especially for individuals with developmental, medical, social, physical and psychological impairments. This activity takes place in an outdoor environment, which enhances the connection between participants and nature. It promotes mindfulness, body awareness, and unity among participants. It allows individuals to step out of their comfort zones and progressively engage their entire bodies in a coordinated dance

PERSONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS

It is possible to join the Outdoor Dance Activity with an artistic workshop such as “Earth Art Mandalas”. This proposal encourages creativity, respect for impermanence of nature, and an emotional connection through the act of arranging materials into art. Develop creative thinking, understanding of aesthetic appeal and teamwork skills. The phases of the activity could be: - Introduce the concept of mandalas and their meditative significance - Let participants in groups explore the area to collect leaves, rocks, and flowers - Instruct participants to choose a spot for creating their mandalas - Encourage participants to arrange their collected materials in circular patterns on the ground - Suggest participants take a mindful approach, focusing on the natural materials and the act of creation - After a set time, gather participants to discuss their experiences and the inspiration behind their mandala designs - Emphasise that the mandalas are temporary, leaving them undisturbed in their natural setting

PRO-ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOURS

The “Eart Art Mandalas” takes on a meaning of environmental learning by stimulating the observation of participants on natural materials collected. In case of plants, the activities can include recording various parameters like location, climate, soil type, health and characteristics. Every groups can exam the impact of human activities on these materials. This could involve investigating pollution, deforestation, overharvesting, or the introduction of invasive species. Present the finding to the other groups. Sharing results and debate. This activity improves
